NOTES:
I am from PA, but to school in Fairfield, CT for those in CT whose guestbooks that i have written on. Sorry for the confusion.
The HID's are great. Aside from me trying to rush to get them in before class, they were a very simple install. There is no fitment issue, but you will need to drill a 1-inch hole on the back of the dust covers so the wires can fit trhough. They have really made a difference at night! The kit was $150 + $70 for lifetime warranty. If anyone else is interested in other specifics on the kit, please send a message on the guestbook.
The Weapon-R intake is a good piece. It makes the car "growl" at you. I love the sound in combination with the exhaust.
The Perrin pulley frees up hidden power from the engine; it doesn't "add" power, but makes better use of the power the engine has in it. It revs faster b/c there is less mass on the cracnkshaft to rotate. Downshifts are also faster.
The exhaust sounds amazing, especially under bridges/in tunnels! The Stromung catback is one of the quieter aftermarket exhausts, but still provides a great "Boxer" rumble. The Random Tech cat really opens up the exhaust flow. There is improved torque all over the rev range, but more towards the top end. The Borla header shifts torque to around 3500rpm from 4500rpm. The torque kicks in sooner and is stronger all the way to redline. The car now sounds like WRX!
The Buddy Club grounding kit is made to better ground the engine. Typically, Subaru engines are horribly grounded. This piece fixes this and makes the engine run better. I have noticed that the car has less strain to get itself moving. Before this mod, I hit a small "wall" at around 90MPH. Now, the wall is pretty much gone. When driving it around, switching gears myself, because it is an automatic, I notice a bump in torque. It is the torque that is needed to move the car. It is possible to feel around a 5-6HP and similar TRQ. I really felt the difference. There is also a small gain in economy. I "have fun" with the car and will soon see if I do get that gain on longer trips. I like this upgrade and is a great piece to add.
