laidbackcelica's 1991 Toyota Celica

I am the Vice President of a small Kansas car club called LAIDBACK.

We are a group of friends who love cars and enjoy helping the community.

Our car club has attended car shows and a few stereo comps and have won 68 Awards.

We have a variety of cars from antique to import.

We are just gettin started there's alot more to come.

I bought this 91 Celica for a project car.

The car needs to be completely rebuilt the old owner did not take care of it.

As of 10/29/07 the car is almost completely stripped.

The new engine should be shipped in the next few days.

Here are a few pics of the car right after I bought it.

Right now im just fixing little things here and there and trying to come up with a few parts that im missing for the interior.

Hopefully soon I can get around to doing the body work and primer.

I cant wait to get it in the paint booth.

UPDATED pictures coming soon.

Hey great work dude, hey i live in St. Louis can i join your club? i have a 1995 Toyota Camry. and M A Y B E will be getting a 2nd car someday. just something to mess around with and take to car shows. but i want to keep my car until i'm out of college and do some of things that you did to your Celica but only a totally different color and rims and everything, but i want to fix it up. and i can't do that right now because I'm a Junior in Highschool and i make about $70 a week bagging groceries at Schnucks. I'm actually looking for a new job or get transfered to a closer location to save gas, but enough about me, you car is... unexplainable! its just AWESOME!! i hope that you'll NEVER EVER get rid of this car not even if they would sell you it for $1,000,000 because of all the hard work that you did. 5 Stars!! check out my beater when you have a chance.
