So THIS is one AUDI-Model, that isn't available in the US until yet. (Written end of octobre 2007. - Now it is! ;-) )
AUDI A5 3.0 TDI
Drives well.
Fast WITHOUT to be rough.
This car IS definitely a GT - a Gran Turismo in its original sense.
- I got an A4 3.0 TDI just before, which wasn't this fast, but more nervous in street-handling. Acceleration of the A5 is not only better, but also smoother in the beginning. Motorsound is even less Diesel-like, then it was in the A4; "Which diesel?". From the inner, it sounds more powerfull, slightly like the V8 3,7 TDI of the defunct A8 of the years around the millenium-change.-
What I dislike about this car:
When I'm rolling in zones of limited speed, often other drivers are "turning around" the car, to get better looks at it. They're going to fast, to take me over, then getting again much slower.
So this lets me overtake a lot of them twice: First before the speedlimit, second after the end of the speedlimit.
-I hate it, to be obliged to do "the work" twice! But I count on keeping my driver-license, so I will -again & again & again- reduce my speed corresponding to the limitations.-
Mine:
Funny detail: Whilst on german Autobahn it was with my former A4 sometimes hard to convince other drivers to get out of my way, they meanwihle change the row easier - due to the LED-Daylights; even when it makes absolutely no sense during the rush-hour.

= They are right: Nearly no legspace in the rear.
Well, it's not an "R8 Porsche hunter", but for daily long-distance runs much more suitable, more as the TT also.
