Alright, ive updated some things.. put a blue neon rod between the two back seats. ill take pics of it soon. took the chrome tape and stuff all my shifter track * my name for it*, just look at one of the pics of my transmission you will see what im talking about.. ill also take a pic of it now what it looks like. and i cleaned up some wires running to my system.. i still gotta replace the exhaust system, and tins the windows.and i found an rx-7 spoiler that im gonna put on mine. and tint the windows..

nice car, as for the shifter, you can buy a new assembly from MAZDATRIX.com or try searching junkyards, but good luck there arent many automatic rx7s -or- get a manual transmission :) check out my ride sometime, peace out

nice car you have there,looks like you have some good plans for it.As for the shifter prob. go to an auto recycler they will more than likely have your needed parts.One suggestion about your stereo set up take that amp off of your sub box and mount it cleanly in one of your cubbies,not to be a dick but those wires running all over look terrible,and the vibration from the sub box can't be doing much good for the amp either,keep up the good work!

as far as fixing the shifter problem...you can get a leather boot that is made for a manual vehicle,different colors are available, that will both cover up your problem and add some color accenting to the interior, there only like 15$ and easy to put on, come see my car and leave me a message. thanks, ben
