A little background on my 58. I have owned the car for one year. The body was removed from the frame, car was repainted, frame acid dipped and painted. This was done by the previous owner, amateur restoration.

The motor is not orginal, it is a GM 350 Small block, bored .03 over, mild cam. Transmission was replaced it has a 350 Turbo

When I bought the car it was about 65% complete or so. I have been finishing and upgrading. I have put in new carpet, radio, antenna, glove box, interior trim, seat belts, finished the dash, bumper brackets, bumper filler plates, had the A-Arms replaced, went through the front end, installed a moon tach, and fixed the speedo.

The next couple of tasks will be getting the door panels, headliner and sun visor etc, finished and installed; I am ordering the vinyl today. Update July 5, 2008, interior is finished a couple of pictures.

My other major winter project will be to do something with the master brake cylinder, the car has drum brakes all around, manual with the original one reservoir master cylinder in it. I am going to do something, either stay manual but add dual master with proportioning value or manual with vacuum booster or maybe a front disk brake kit. Update, July 5, 2008 - I start the installation of the new braks tomorrow
