Drooping rear end after leveling kit.I need some helper springs in the future. 1/08
Bed is now patched and sprayed with something similar to Line-X. Its not Rhino Liner or Hercualiner either. The bed rails were sprayed too. 1/08
Just another view of the bed. 1/08
I had to have the bed corners sprayed because the truck started to rust not even a month after I got the truck back. Its always been a Toyota problem. 1/08

Dad's Titan amd my Tundra
My saggy rear end after the leveling kit was installed. Dad's truck has the factory rake due to the offroad package.
3/08 Rusty bumper pisses me off. Called 100 Junkyards in a 50 mile radius and found only 2. Both of them have small dent on it. One guy wants $250 and the other wants $325
Factory Toyota Tundra step bars Access cab that I bought for $60. Ther were a little on the rusty side but I sanded the rusty parts down and applied some Krylon Rust inhbitor black. Next I applied some Krylon Semi-gloss black paint. They tuurned out alright. I guess. For $60 you can't beat that.
finally got the step bars installed 6/08
I had to have the step bars welded to the truck because the lagbolts popped out when I stepped on it. I'm only 190 lbs but yeah I know, I need to lose some weight.

K&N FIPK Intake Used $100. Labor $20 2/13/2009 I just traded it for a Volant Intake.
I spent 4 hours detailing the truck the night before 4/6/08

Before paint After paint
This is currently what the truck looks like. I had the leveling kit removed and I spray painted the centercaps black. I got bored one night. My step bar looks like its not sitting right. Well. I had them welded onto the truck and its not completely flat underneath.
2/13/2009 I removed the K&N FIPK intake and went back to the stock Toyota intake. Boy what a difference it was to gain my torque back.
I traded the K&N FIPK Intake for a Volant Intake.

My driver mirror has been cracked for about 2 months now. It cracked back in January when eastern ohio had a sub zero temperatures for 2 days. I'm going to replace this mirror soon.
If you want an intake system that works better than the K&N intake then I suggest Volant. Try to find one of these volant intakes used. They sell new for about $300-$325. The filter is about $75 to replace. It does not come with a cleaning kit. That will set your wallet back another $20.
I did gain more power in this intake then I did with the stock toyota intake. While going up a hill at 50 Mph, the truck felt just as powerful with or with the stock intake.
So, in other words, I think you do lose a little bit of torque but at hole shot from 0-60mph is does feel more powerful. Also the volant does not have as much of that suction sound like the K&N does. The volant just like the K&N makes the exhaust sound throatier when you jump on it. If money is a problem, which it is for the majority then I suggest just running the stock intake.
It has a hole that faced the front end of the truck allowing air to be sucked into the truck from the grille.
The filter is just a little bit exposed to the elements
4 ports.
I did sell this intake. I only put about 20 miles on it and sold it. Had I not have my 300M I would not sell this intake because of the amount of power and torque that I picked up. Dyno tests show that gain up to 11hp.

The TRD oil cap. I had this on for about a month but haven't got around to taking a pciture of it until now. $53

My tint meter arrived and I tested the windows. The front windows with the 20% that I paid for were 14-15% VLT.
The sliding rear window that I had 20% put overtop of the factory tint read 5%. I didn't know that it was that dark out the back.
I plan on removing the front tint sometime in the near future. It looks good during the day but its hard to see out of especially at night or when towing a boat.
