Gunther is a 1964 Ford Fairlane 2-door post. He currently has his original 6-cylinder engine, and is all stock- even the paint is original.
1-wheel RWD, straight 6, 2-door post, 2-speed auto on the column. Here are some pics that were taken a little over a year ago:

We're working on a total overhaul right now, but, as always, money and time are big issues. As of November '07, I have a 289 V8 ready to be put in with a T5 transmission. Still looking for a rear end and front disc brakes. Here's a pic of the new engine (bored, hi-po heads w/Chevy 305 valves, double timing chain, etc.)

Okay, well school and work certainly take their toll on my time, so not much has been done (sadly). After discovering the extent of the work needed to switch to manual, I've decided to hunt down either a C4 or C6 auto transmission. The 289 is still a staple, and I still need to find a good 9" posi rear end. If anyone has any advice or can point me in the right direction, it'd be greatly appreciated. Updates to follow.
