Hello and thanks for stopping by...
This page is dedicated to the restoration/resurrection of my long awaited 1967 Chevelle. I waited 25 years to own one of these cars, and finally, after years of patiently searching and researching, circumstances were in my favor and I found one in the condition and price range I wanted. So, I did what any other 1967 Chevelle obsessed person would do in my position... after a month of emailing the owner back and forth, I hopped on a plane and flew 1400 miles to Denver Colorado to get my Chevelle. I'd like to thank my Dad who drove 10+ hours from New Mexico in his Duramax GMC pulling an empty 24' enclosed car trailer to pick me up at the airport. After that we headed 45 minutes northeast to a little town, and after looking it over excitedly, we loaded it into the tralier, and in less than 48 hours, towed it back to California.
She is a mostly original (except for the front and rear seat upholstery & 350 mill) and unrestored 1967 Chevelle Malibu 2 door hard top. I plan to fully rebuild her myself and clone her to a 427 SS. The pics were taken Oct 12th, 13th, 14th, and I will be updating with more new pics as more work is done. Feel free to leave me messages with questions, comments or anything else interesting. Also, for those of you who know me by my big black 1975 Chevy 4x4, I'm not selling my truck to fund the Chevelle project, but I appreciate your offers. Hehe...
Cheers!
**Update 7-29-08** I've decided to rebuild the 350 that is currently in the Chevelle to a 383 Stroker which I will run for the next couple years so I can save $$ for the 427 long block kit that will be the final engine for the Chevelle. The 383 I'll be building will put out 480hp and 450 ft lbs of torque. I'll be posting pics of the engine build, so stay tuned.
