This is my 1968 Dodge Dart
-I bought the car when it had a 273 V8, my dad and I swapped it out for a rebuilt 360 bored .030 over. the heads have been rebuilt with bigger intake valves and it makes about 10:1 compression. the cam is a Comp Cams Extreme Engergy Cam with 274 duration and .488 intake and .491 exhaust. it is topped off with a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, under a Holley 670 Street Avenger carb and K&N air filter. the radiator is stock, rebuilt with a third core added and pumped with a Flowkooler aluminum waterpump and a Mopar Performance clutch fan.
-The transmission is the original 904. It has been overhauled and a shift kit has been added. it connects to the engine with a TCI breakaway 2400 stall converter and a B&M flexpate
-Under the car is a 8 3/4 with 3.91's and a sure grip.
- The exhaust starts with a pair of TTI's full tube ceramic coated step headers to a 3 inch dual flowmaster 40 series that go out in front of the rear wheels.
-The interior is all original except for the gauges (tac on column, oil and water under dash).
-the car has been repainted sometime in its life. still has the original vinyl top.
-The wheels are chrysler rally wheels with a 205/70/14 on the front and 235/60/15 in the back.
-The suspension was upgraded with Mopar Performance super stock leaf springs (002/003) and shocks, adjustable pinion snubber, frame connectors, and flaming river steering box.
- The car was also in the readers rides section of car craft in march 2007
