well, this is my new a4.... i wrecked my baja by falling asleep and this is my new toy. found it on ebay for $13,500, had 69k miles, very clean, and had some lights on in the dash ie: esp, cel, abs, tcs.... turned out all it needed was an abs sensor that the dealer paid for and other than that it is excellent. i found out later on when i went to pick it up that it has an APR sport catback exhaust and some kind of body kit which to this day, i have no clue what it is. other than that, it is bone stock. the pics are from when i first got it and hopefully, i'll be adding more soon.

after i got it, the first thing i did was got a set of euro tails for it. another ebay find for about 30 bux. next i bought a set of Nankang NS-1 tires for it. 235/40-17 from discounttirezone.com for $57 a piece. not bad i dont think.

then i quit my job and was trying to find something else i could do to my baby that was cheap and effective but after about 2 weeks of searching, i've realized that it is an audi, not a honda...u cant get cheap garbage for it. i'm not honda bashing, but hhonda stuff is everywhere and a dime a dozen.

so my next hopefully inexpensive item would be an intake. i've read up on audiworld and other audi sites and all i hear is that an intake generally gives you no HP gains. however i wasnt after it for the gain, i wanted the sound. so i took out the intake box and just strapped a cone filter to the MAS and left the heatshield on.

next came the stereo. it came with the bose system and was very nice, but the dick that had the car b4 me took the factory sub out of the rear deck for his own system....and never put it back in. so rather than buy a new one for way more than a monthly payment for the car, i opted to put in my own stereo. my sony deck has everything i need. mp3 capable and has the inputs as well for my dvd player. so now it's running a sony 800W 2ch with 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch P1's and sounds very nice for my tastes.

looking foreward to christmas this year because i'm gettin the apr stage 1 chip installed from APTUNING.com out of lebanon pa. $500 for the chip and while i'm down there, i'm gonna be getting a test pipe and snub mount installed. i'm told it will be like driving a new car and boy do i hope so.

if' you've got an a4 and know of some other inexpensive mods that can be done, let me kno. i'm told i need to shave the emblems off and have no clue how or if there are any other mods like dif lighting or s-line trim or anything that u think would be nice, i'm def open for suggestions seeing how i'm not too sure on where to go next.

also, if anyone knows what kind of body kit it has on it, i'd love to know seeing how i live in a very deer prone area of NEPA and i dont want to be driving around w/ 75% of a body kit for any period of time. thanx!!!
