If I had the money to do so, the first thing I would do is drop in the LS1...however, I'm in college right now, and as such, I'm on a tight budget...thanks for the idea though...any others?

well, as for insurance, i would say, get an LS1 motor, and drop it in, youll have the power of a V8 but with your car being VINed as a V6, youll pay V6 insurance. i did it when i was younger and couldnt pay the V8 insurance, so i did the next best thing.
