So I took my mom and sister out for a wheel today. :D
We went out to where I (and anybody else who has a quad/dirtbike) used to go quadding all the time. Muskeg fields mixed with sand with pine trees on it.
The pic may make me look like a goof because they are almost of me stuck, (thats when your stopped and have time to dig out the camera!) But, we covered alot of ground, and hit alot of different trails and had a great afternoon. The muskeg is nasty for getting stuck.
The massive ME VS. THE PUDDLE shakedown at the end was awesome, cause not only did I win, but Bronco got good and muddy, and my mom learned what it was to go mudding!
My mom!! >

Hole number one for the day. It really did not look like my tire was going to sink that deep. But there it is, having a muskeg bath.

Here is my trusty, not at all dusty, WINCHY. Winchy is removing me from hole #1. Having a good strong winch has made offroading about 10 times more fun! As long as the cab is not going to get turned into a frog pond and the engine air intake stays mostly dry, lol, I am game to throttle it into lots of different challenges/obstacles/holes. Damage is part of the fun that I'm prepared to accept, as long as the doors still close (and open??) and it can still limp home, it's all good. Even if it can't limp home, it can be retrieved and repaired.

On to hole #2, it was this cool banked corner, apparently I wasn't going fast enough because I slid down into the slop.

My sister had to climb out the window, couldn't get the door open. And there is me, digging out the extra winching cables, I had to wrangle 3 little wimpy larch trees to get enough pull.

Somewhere there you can see a little bit of my rear diff, but where is the rear passenger tire??? It's buried, thats where. And there is a nice pic of some muskeg covered radius arms.

Once we got out of the muskeg fields we got to cruise some sand and hills.
