This page has nothing to do with my Bronco, it just has some stuff that I think is cool.

A buddy of mine who works at Ritchie Brothers Auctions called me up cause they needed equipment drivers for moving over the viewing ramp for the bidders. Since I love heavy equipment, and didn't have anything pressing to do, I said yes.

One of the coolest things I got to drive was Hagglund Bv 206, a tracked amphibious vehicle.
They are made in Sweden. There seems to be instructions on how to pick it up with a helicopter.
They are powered by a Mercedes-Benz diesel, that is under your right arm. Kinda loud. The front part holds 4-5 people, the ones at this auction had decks on the rear half but others sometimes have cabs on the back that can hold up to 6 people.
They have power to all 4 tracks and articulate to steer.
Some other cool stuff I drove for the auction. I have operated many different sizes of loaders in the past when I worked with a contractor.. This big cat loader is a dinosaur, freshly painted LOOKS nice, but it's controls and unions are sloppy and poor.
I got to be Mr.Plow for about 15 min, lol? This plow truck was cool, it had the under frame ice breaking blade.
The tandem-tandem picker truck was neat, very long, and large turning radius.
Some other random equipment. I ran a couple excavators (hoe's), and dozer cats, and one crummy old grader.
This pipe-layer was truly a dinosaur, it must have been 30 years old, again, freshly painted is deceiving. It was crude, it had 15 leavers all within reach of the driver and all going in different directions.
A view from the drivers seat.
Another cool mobile that was in the auction was a Commander. This one was rather small as far as Commanders go. They are very mobile. Ofter there is larger ones that have a full 50' deck and tandem axles on the back. I liked the step, I might put something like this on my Bronco, made out of regular chain perhaps.
Full size Nodwell and baby Nodwell.
This thing was kinda unique, it was called a Track Truck.
There was a very tiny and cute dozer there, you could probably haul it in a 1 ton pickup.
Again, I thought this was cute, some had gotten a sticker made for the side of this D4.
Here is a log skidder, this is the one I drove. These things are BadAss in the sense that if they can't just drive OVER something they put their blade down and snip it off the ground like a shear. And if you ever thought that tire chains were nasty, they have some that take it up a notch. They are not so much tire chains as Battle-Armour for the tire.
They have a giant claw hand on the back for grabbing a log(s) and picking them up and dragging them out to the loading area.
