1988 Jeep Comanche Eliminator, 2WD, 4.0L, Automatic.

I fully restored the truck. I used a 1989 Pioneer as a donor vehicle, (the frame was rotted out, but the box was in very good shape).

I replaced the doors from a 96 Cherokee, purchase new front fenders, header panel, installed new rockers, box from the 89 Pioneer. The frame itself had very little rust along with the floors. I was quite surprised at the condition of the frame and floors.

I added an additonal leaf as I put quite heavy loads in the truck, this in turn gave me about a 4" lift, I then decided to add a 3" lift to the front.

The frame, floor and box was painted with Por-15.

Other additions were a sprayed on bedliner, tonneau cover, new headliner, sterio system, HID lighting, white side marker lights, Front mesh grill, new wheels and tires.

I painted the truck 2 tone, top color is a Dark Cherry pearl metalic, lower color is Silver.

Future plans: Stroker 4.7.

As you will see in the pictures below the progress of my build.
