Pontiac Trans Am - the American Musclecar LIVES!
2006 Updates
Mr. October - Gray Ghost shares the spotlight with a '94 'Vette in The Woodlands Car Club Charity Fund Raising Calendar:

Getting ready for STARS April 21-23 in Fort Walton Beach, FL:
If you are into Firebirds and Trans Ams, you've gotta do this show! I was at the first one in Pensacola in 2002 and am pleased to be going back this year. Mark and Belva, along with all the volunteers and sponsors, always manage to put together a great car show.

The pics below are from the Niftee Fiftees Street Meet last Saturday nite (15-Apr-2006). There were over 300 cars in attendance, covering a wide spectrum of styles and interests. A live band also performed. This was kind of a shakedown ride to make sure there were no leaks or other problems after having the top of the engine apart for a cosmetic resto. Don't want any unexpected happenings on the road trip to Florida next week! I'm happy to report all systems are go...

Look, no more dash cracks! New black dash cover:

Below is a little *magic* with the digicam, Gray Ghost and the 1:18 scale model of Gray Ghost:

Pics below are from STARS 2006. What a great show it was! Many thanks and much appreciation go to Mark and Belva Parrett for putting this on each year!

There's just no tellin' who's gonna show up at a STARS show!

Here's a fellow CarDomain member, KARRKraft, and INVERSE, her reverse color schemed CE. Congrats on your 3rd-in-class!

Another reverse color scheme, this time a '69 TA Convertible Clone. It took first place honors in my class, Light Custom; Gray Ghost brought home Second.

Two Sweet!
TACH was representin' with seven cars entered from clubmembers. In what could be considered a clean sweep, all 7 cars received awards. They are:
Bill (with lovely wife Ella) - First in Class
Silvio's 25th - First in Class
Ella's CE (she & Bill brought both their Birds)- First in Class
Mark & Darline - Third in Class
Luis & Carol's 30th Anniversary - First in Class
Paul's '79 Bandit - Second in Survivor Class
and, for when too much of a good thing is never enough, some random pics from the show:

29-Apr-2006: Went back to the Niftee Fiftees Saturday Nite Drive-In. Again, there were over 300 cars, a live band, dancing under the stars and good food. What more could a motorhead desire?

04-Jul-2006: Fourth of July Parade in our neighborhood. I've been busy the last couple of months, but not in the traditional sense. We finally got around to working on Olde Yeller to make her roadworthy. The parade was her inaugural outing. So bear with me for the Mustang pics, but we proudly displayed two vehicles and really enjoyed ourselves!

And two more gorgeous 'Birds participated. The 'Vert is a '67 326 and the Tenth is a 403/auto with only 18k miles on the clock!

UPDATE: from June 2, 2007 again at the Niftee Fifties Classic Car Drive-In:
