Hey guys, this is my newely established vehicle. It's a 1992 Civic Si Hatchback. I found exactly the car I wanted and got it on Thursday October 11th/2007. Im very happy with the car and the fact that this is my first car. I'm very excited about this, and would love to get some feedback (hopefully positive) from you guys out there who appretiate what people have to work for to establish as their own. Due to the fact that I worked all summer for this car, and having to pay out of my pocket, it means much more than if I had it paid for by my parents, which happens too often and kids don't realize what it costs to live without mommy and daddy paying for everything.

Got my hands on a super clean Integra GSR.  I got plans for it, but its staying N/A.  I'll keep it updated.

Car is SOLD. 5000 cash. Looking for a civic turbo or integra type R now. I'll post her when I get her. Can't wait.

I really don't know what kind of shape the car is in right now. There is light smoke coming from the exhaust under heavy acceleration. Burning a lil oil im assuming. I heard this is common with most honda engines. It has 234,000 km but have been using top of the line (redline synthetic 5W30 oil) Anyone have any intake?

Had to get a new bumper and hood when I was driving in bad road conditions and due to my rear tires having LOW tread (metal showing) I was unable to stop in time and rubbed up against a Audi Q7. Hood was pushed in and suprisingly the bumper just had paint chipping. Could have been alot worse, but could have been avoided with good tires, and that was told to me by a tire shop. Brand spanking new tires are on, and they already saved my ass when a bicyclist decided to cross the road without looking either way on a stop for him. (tires smokin) haha

I gotta take the car in to a shop to get it checked out. At first I thought the engine was just cold. It would jump from 1000-1500 rpm every second only at idle, or if I engage the clutch and im rolling in neutral. I'm not touching the car until it goes into the shop, and im probably going to have to get it towed because im concerned the engine might seize. It was low on coolant so I topped it up. On my drive back home (20 minutes) the engine temperature was over redline and when I poped the hood, the coolant was boiling and disipated due to it. I have a feeling it might be a headgasket. There are ALOT of knowledgable people on this site, if anyone has an idea I would appretiate it. Thanks.

Got the car back, it was simply that the radiator was blocked off with shit in it which was causing the engine to have troubles running and burning up the coolant. The engine purs now, and sounds and runs better than it ever did. Cost me 200 bucks to get that done, but having to spend 90 bucks an hour for labor gets the job done right. Im just happy its done with.

Hope you enjoy, and feel free to post. I'd love to hear what you have to say and what you ride in.

Sorry About The Poor Quality Pictures, They Were Taken With My Phone

I'm Planning On Tinting The Rear Windows 20% and the Drivers Window 35% Which Should Make The Rear End Look Really Nice. Also Planning On Getting A 320-340 MM Momo Steering Wheel To Replace The 280 MM Momo Wheel I Have Now. Its Hard To See The Guages. Let Me Know What You Think, Or Some Things That You Would Suggest. Thanks

I've always wanted to get a spoon spoiler cause I know it would make the rear look even better than it is. Who knows? haha

Also Planning on Painting My Brake Calipers Red Or Black, Or I Might Leave Them The Way They Are. Does Anyone Have An Opinion On That? Thanks.

Nov.24/07

I was changing my high beam bulbs to hid, and in the process snapped the wire for my right angel eyes. The wiring wasn't done properly to begin with, so now it gets to be done properly.

Nov.28/07

Headlights re-wired properly, high beams low beams and angel eyes work finally. Xenon white lights installed. They look sick.

Dec.09/07

Just ordered a Momo Millenium steering wheel as a early christmas present for myself haha.

I had to get a new steering wheel cause the one I have now is 280 mm and because of the size, I can't see the guages properly so buying a new steering wheel will solve that problem.

Dec.25/07

Santa suprised me with a momo steering wheel which I thought I would have to pay for haha bonus. Now I just gotta get it swapped in with my existing momo wheel. Maybe tonight if im lucky.

Dec.26/07

Got the Momo Millenium steering wheel in and it looks pretty good. The whole purpose of getting a new wheel is so I could see all the guages, which I now can. I'll post before and after shots asap.

Jan.04/07

Recieved my Momo Millenium wheel and I am very happy with it. The whole point of getting a new wheel was so I had the clearance above the center of the wheel and lower section of the ring on the wheel. I got 20 mm of clearance so now I can see all the guages without dipping my head down. I thought I would keep the honda horn but thinking of putting the momo in. (Picture below)

Purchased a carbon fiber spoon spoiler with real carbon which I have been wanting ever since I got the car. Planning on installing tomorrow. (Picture below)

Feb.22/08

Recieved a ticket for not having my front plate attached to the front bumper (110 dollars). It was in the windshield, and apparently its not visible. You can see what it looks like in some of my pictures, I don't see how thats not visible. Going to fight the ticket, never even got a warning or I would have moved it before.

FUTURE PLANS

Tint the rear windows 35%

Exhaust with burnt tip 2-3.5" (Full catback installed but the exhaust tip looks like shit haha. Planning on getting an exhaust that is about 2 inches shorter so it doesn't stick out as much)

B16 when I get the funds together :D
