xterra13’s Mercury Capri
“XR 2”

This is my newest project the 1991 Capri XR 2. This is a great little car and I have had a great time cleaning it up and getting it ready to roll. I hope you like the pics. I did the best I could to show the car and the great shape that it is in. This little turbo was driven by the best young lady in the world at 55 years young she sold it to me. She used it as an everyday driver to go to work and back a total trip of about 10 miles. The car was in pretty good shape when I got it, but I still put a little over $2000 into it just to get her running right.
Here she is 91 XR2 in great shape after a lotof clean up and some work. I picked this car up on the west coast and brought it to AZ a couple weeks ago.

I will add some more pics as I take them. These are just for starters.
The rag top is in good shape, but does have 2 small holes. I will show pics with the top up in the future.
Anyway hope you guys & gals like the pictures I had to hit this thing with some serious cleaning and lots of compound and wax but its lookin pretty good now.

These are just some simple shots of the interior.

I put these on just to and a little zip to the inside.

I really had to work the motor over it had some damage from the salt air down by the coast ,but all and all it turned out pretty good
I installed this strut tower brace almost as soon as I got the car, it really helped with the tourqe steering from the turbo

I also just put on a 2.25 exhaust system with a magna flow pipe, still need to do the down pipe and the high flow cat though.
The seats are in good shape I just wanted to give them some protection from the AZ sun so I put some seat covers on. Please sign the guest book and let me know what you think.
