Stereo System Equipment.
The stereo system is all planned out and almost everything needed to build it has been bought. It will have 16 Soundstream Tarantula amps, over 22,000 RMS watts of power & a grand total of 112 Soundstream drivers!
Nope, that's not a typo, 112 drivers!
24 sets of speakers, 2 speakers per set, 2 drivers per speaker & 16 R1-15 subwoofers.
After many questions about how all this is going to be installed in the truck, here is a quick overview.
Of the Soundstream Tarantula SST4.0 component speakers, I will have 2 sets above the windshield on the drivers side, 2 sets above the windshield on the passenger side, 4 sets above the windshield in the center.

2 sets per channel, crossovers wired in series/parallel @ 3ohms for 82.5 watts RMS per speaker.
Of the Soundstream Tarantula SST6.9 component speakers, 4 sets are going in the upper area of the front drivers door & 4 sets are going in the upper area of the front passengers door.
Powered by: 4 Soundstream Tarantula TR500/4 amplifiers
1 driver per channel, wired in stereo @ 3ohms for 187.5 watts RMS per speaker.
Of the Soundstream Tarantula SST5.2 component speakers, 4 sets are going in the rear drivers side cargo area & 4 sets are going in the rear passenger side cargo area.

Of the Soundstream 15” Reference R1-15 subwoofers, there will be 4 sealed enclosures each containing 4 R1-15 subwoofers. These will be suspended from the roof of the truck useing specialy designed hanger plates & support tubes.
