Several people within the Carddomain community have asked to contribute something to help offset the tremendous costs involved with a build of this size and I suspect to encourage faster paced updates! If you would like to toss in a few bucks to help out the cause, here's a way to do it and it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have been here before, then you already know what's going on and thanks for coming back! If this is your first visit, thanks for dropping by. Please check out everything that has been going on and what you've missed.

If after you have checked out all the information on our build, you feel like you would like to help out, visit the "Donations" section on our website by clicking on the www.armoredhaulin.com link below.

It's quick, easy and secure as all payments are processed through PayPal.

Check out my 2002 Collector Edition Trans Am here:

I acquired this truck in August 2006 & I have started the work on it. The ultimate goal is to have the truck ready for the SPRING BREAK NATIONALS in Daytona Beach, FL in March 2009! I am planning on building a competition winning sound system for both SQ & DB. The planned system would be too long to list everything here but with over 3500 cubic feet of space to build in...you get the picture!

All fabrication, paint & installation work shown on this profile was done by myself with the help of my brother and fiance "Doodles".

This truck was built for hauling heavy loads and not much else. Top speed of 62 MPH, yes that's correct, not the fastest thing on the street but a whole lot of fun to pound the pavement in!

From what I have been told, these trucks should be sold overseas to security companies or crushed when they are retired from service. I got lucky and was in the right place at the right time.

It took me almost 5 years to get my hands on one of these trucks. Trying to find a company that was willing to sell one to a private party was the biggest challenge.

The truck is in somewhat rough condition, but compared to others I have seen, this one is in amazing shape and for the price I got it for I am more than willing to invest the extra time & money to bring it back to better than new condition.

Here is the engine. It is a Caterpillar 3116 with really low miles on it and it runs great.

Stripped!

Still stripping!

Starting to do the refinishing work on the outside of the truck. The truck will be completely stripped and repainted. All the bumpers are going to be removed and rebuilt and also they will be getting re-enforced with thicker gauge metal.
