So, after $5000 of repairs in 18 months, I decided it was time to replace my 1999 Ford Contour SE. Since I'm getting older (and theoretically more responsible), practicality and the ability to eventually be able to carry a carseat were driving factors in deciding on a replacement. So the '07 Sentra eventually won out. It's got a much larger interior than the ol' 'Tour. It's got all the SL options except Sat radio, spoiler, and fog lights. It's very comfortable cruising on the interstate. The CVT took a little getting used to, but 36-38mpg on the interstate sounds good to me. I've not had a chance to do much to it yet. I've just added some Silverstars, and a nice chrome exhaust tip. Oh, and the Thule bike rack, too. I haven't had a chance to really explore the handling yet, but I can tell it's more softly sprung than the Contour. But, I look forward to many miles with this new car!
