I have an 81 Monte Carlo with a 229 3.8 V6(for NOW), but DONT under estimate what its got now. its FAAST!!! 
i'v got a pioneer head unit and two 12's Kicker Comps and two 3 1/2 in the front and two 6x9's Kicker's in back. Gota stay Living Loud! I took out that sound muffling shit that's behind the back seats and now i have the back seat's unbolted but sitting there so i can jsut put em down when i want it to be EXTRA LOUD!
The only thing done to it, is that there's a spotlight which was on there when i bought it which was earlier this year. Im keeping it because i don't see many/ANY cars with spotlights like that one. 
Otherwise all that iv done to it is replaced the shocks(which needed it) and the exhaust which i took out the cat so its running straight exhaust to a dynomax thrush turbo. I've got a K&N air filter, water pump and a "tune up". I have a radiator from a 305 in it also.
