Bought this to replace my old 1973 Chevy 4x4 Pickup which I ran into a signal light pole trying to help a friends mom who's KIA got caught in a flooded street. This is a 4x4 4.3 auto and is a nice ride for an SUV.

I added new Kelly tires, front grill guard and Hella off road lights. Clear front marker and signal lights and Euro black chrome tailights. Also had MagnaFlow exhaust, 2 1/2" pipe installed and put in a K&N air filter. Put on a throttle body spacer too with a tune up and fuel filter. Lot of repair to fix worn brakes, axle seals, oil filter adapter lines, brake hoses and rear wheel cylinders.

Want to fix surface rust on body and repaint a little darker red. Also thinking about a suspension lift and nerf bars. Maybe 31" sometime. Also if the 4.3 ever goes will swap in a 350. But will be a while before I can get to any of that.

Just had to have the transmission rebuilt, but at 170k miles that's not bad! Still need to get the surface rust fixed. Man, this year has gone by fast!
