99silverZ's 1999 Pontiac Firebird

Here is my 1999 Pontiac Firebird Formula. On 10/12/2007 my buddy Jeff and I decided to trade cars. But we were only swaping chasis. So Friday night, with the help of our other buddy Ben, we put both cars on jacks and began the swap. The rear end came out with the exhaust. Rear shocks/springs, front shocks/springs and suspension. On Saturday, the motor came out of the Camaro and was installed into the Formula. A new McLeod clutch was installed, brakes were bled. On Sunday, the rest of the motor/tranny/exhaust went in. Over the whole weekend, it rained. Slowed down progress but still went on. By Monday, everything was double-triple checked and the Formula was started, test drove and taken home.

Over the next few pages, are pics of the swap.
