This is my 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 4X4. It came equipped with the 4.7 liter V8. I purchased this truck on June 6, 2006. Since then, I have added a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift, 3 inch suspension lift, 3-4 inch lift Rough Country Hydro shocks, 32X11.50X15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrains on 15X8 American Racing Slyder wheels. It also has a K&N air filter, Flowmaster 40 series single in, dual out exhaust setup, diamond plate toolbox, Jensen DVD/CD/MP3 player and 6 1/2 Sony Explod 4way speakers in the front doors, 5 1/4 Sony Explod 4way speakers in the pillars behind the seat and clear corner lights.
* I recently traded in the Dakota for an '04 Chevy Impala so I can haul the family. I hated to get rid of it, but you just couldn't fit anyone in it. Check out my Impala and watch for updates soon.
I shaved all of the emblems. I took off the "Dakota Sport" on both doors and the "Dodge" and "4X4" off of the tailgate.
Here is a before and after picture. The one on the top is just the 3 inch body lift, and the one on the bottom is with the body lift and the suspension lift (6 inches total).
