Well, here she is, my 1985 911. She's pretty quick, and sticks to the road like a fat kid on a Smarty. The best of so many worlds in one little package... bff!
This particular vehicle was purchased in Stuttgart, Germany in 1985 by a fella who lived in Chicago. He flew over, hand picked it, and shipped it back to North America in a container. Because of this it bypassed the need for quite a few regulatory 'modifications' required by law (which are typically not considered performance enhancing) =]
Noteable differences are, a higher compression ratio and nearly 30 more horespower, a lower stock ride height, the rear 'bumperettes' are half size, unlike the massive ones forced onto North American 911's of that era. There's also the orange side marks and a rear fog light, a nice touch that had to get pulled off right away.
Last summer I took her on a two week trip to the east coast of Canada with my father. We camped most of the way, had a great time. The highlight was the two days on Cape Breton's Cabot Trail. If you don't know where or what the Cabot Trail is check the following links.

Definitely recommended, if you can get there... so beautiful. (warning: choose co-pilot wisely, lots of nailbiting cliffs!) The car was ridiculously fun to drive, ear to ear grins the whole way. Really tight, responsive, lots of power, just plain fun. And not a single problem over 10,000km... not bad for 25 years old.
Well that's about it for now, check back later for new pics!
