This is my '93 2.3 Turbo Notchback.
It started out as an automatic 2.3 NA that was slow, slow, slow. I paid $600 for it as a heap and I ran a best of 11.80 in the 1/8th mile.
This 210 hp 2.3 came from an '88 Thunderbird TurboCoupe.

The interior is stock except for the custom seats, which are out of a Probe GT, boost gauge, Hurst pistol-grip shifter. Everybody loves this interior because I'm the only one (as far as I know) with these seats. Recently installed A-Pillar that holds the Boost & Air/Fuel gauges, a Grant steering wheel, & a nice new CD player.

This car is really fun to drive. Especially when you roast V-8's in a 4-Banger...I have a video of me beating a modded-up 5.0 in a street race you can see in my videos. This car has ran a fastest 1/4 mile of 14.51@98mph

Here is the car at the Magic City Mustangs All Ford show in Bessemer,AL. Not the prettiest ride there but Unique enough to show off. Mine was the only 2.3 Turbo in the show and got more attention than I thought it would. Parked next to it is my '88 GT w/ a 331 Stroker.

The motor has all forged internals, 36 lb/hr injectors, Bigger cam, Performance-1 Blow Off Valve, 255lph Fuel pump, Kirban Adjustable Fuel Press. Reg., a Darkforce Cold-Air intake, and the dual exhaust is functional. Yes, the Ram-Air is functional through the scoops on the hood, that gets cold air to the top-mount intercooler. It is the same ram-air system that was factory on the T-Bird, and I integrated it onto this hood. I installed an adjustable cam gear to tune top & low end power...

The turbo has been upgraded as the first one broke due to the lack of a blow-off valve while making 12 psi of boost. I have replaced it with a Garrett T-3 that forces 15 pounds of boost into the 2.3, which creates about 250 horsepower to the wheels. Future plans include a front-mount intercooler.
