Vehicle was purchased 7/07 as an off-lease vehicle w/ only 20k on it. My 2002 3.5 SE was nearing 90k, so the "upgrade" to the 2005 was necessary. Stock horsepower is 250 with a torque rating of 249. I have some intake and exhaust revisions so far. A high-flow 27" Magnaflow resonator was added as well as an increase in exhaust piping from 2.25" to 2.5" from the resonator to the mufflers. I have added Magnaflow 14851 mufflers and removed the restrictive y-pipe "crimp". Horsepower is probably somewhere near 260 or so, but I'm probably being a bit conservative. Only the dyno will tell. I expect most of the horsepower increase to come from the y-pipe revisions, though. 265+ horsepower is pretty realistic after this is performed. 0-60 times have averaged ~6.5 seconds or so, with a best of 6.4. 1/4 miles times are ~14.8-15.0@94mph on average. Technosquare ECU to be applied shortly, eliminating the speed limiter and adding quite a bit of horsepower as well. Top speeds with the 5 speed auto have been reported in the high 140 range with manuals exceeding 150 or so. Maximas with the same horsepower ratings and same engine w/o the speed limiter have been reported to peg 149 on track tests performed by major car enthusiast magazines, so a top speed of 150 is not unrealistic.

I knew it was either smoke or pewter...the newer pewter color is actually more tan-like, which is odd, but the old pewter color (02-04's) was like the new smoke color...guess that's why I wasn't sure. Anyway, I'm putting a Berk intake w/ Apexi filter back on this car. I had a V2 on my 02 SE and I loved it, so I figured I'd get another one for this car. After that, within the next month, the "crimped" section of exhaust after the Y-pipe is getting replaced with a regular 2.25" open section. After that, then the 14829 Magnaflows.

the answer to your other question if my car is pewter. No its smoke. Its a great color, goes very well with black. I just bought some HID lights with CATZ and eylids from a guy out in CA. I should have them on after I smoke them out. It's going to look crazy ill with the color of my car. So whats next on your car?

I got the high flow cat back kit. It looks great and sounds awsome! I cant see the muffler at all. The tips stick out as much as the factory did just larger oh and I see that Magnaflow writing on the side of the tip everytime I walk up to the car. Great way to advertise what I have without putting those annoying stickers on the car.

This car has a lot of potential. You will love it when you finish your exhaust system, not that its not already loved.
