You have chosen to look at my 2001 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This beautiful pony/muscle car came equipped with the SLP Performance Package and currently has only 50,000 miles. Under the hood is a 5.7L V-8 LS1 engine producing 345 factory horsepower. She has an automatic transmission and is fully loaded including T-Tops, power everything, steering-wheel control settings, custom "SLP Performance" floor mats, a custom "Camaro SS" trunk mat, a Monsoon 500-watt speaker system, and a 12-Disc CD changer in the trunk. The color is Onyx Black and it is mint!! with the exception of some minor, unavoidable highway rock chips. I have not dynoed her (but plan to do so in the near future), but I am guessing she now puts out around 360 horsepower with the new cat-back exhaust system and air intake.
I bought this stellar car in August of 2007 for an ABSOLUTE STEAL with ONLY 36,000 miles for ONLY $16,900. Her previous 2 owners babied her and kept her bone stock except for the factory SLP Performance Package. I intend to baby this car for the rest of her life; however, I do plan to install many modifications. In my opinion, modifications enhance not only the performance but also the look of the car. I didn't intend to do so much when I first bought her, but as many of us do, I got carried away because I absolutey love making this car the best it can be.
