MD-IN-UK's 1974 Austin Mini Looks kinda sad dosen't it?

MD-IN-UK's 1974 Austin Mini The front lower valance. looks bad but isn't really. I'll get'er all straightened out and cleaned up. Then I think a nice coating of rocker guard will keep it lasting a good while longer.

Again, this isn't bad at all. I will have to weld the screw holes for the old flairs, as the new ones arrived and there not exactly in the right place......

MD-IN-UK's 1974 Austin Mini In case you want to know, that is a MINI Cooper coffee mug on the roof, with some Earl Grey Tea brewing in it.

I think this picture shows just how nice the paint on this car really is. It dosen't need a paint job, but when all the little repairs are accomplished, it will.

Here you can see the door has been painted, it's a bit off. The side glass has been removed also. I'll be replacing the dangling turn signals with clear lense units later.

MD-IN-UK's 1974 Austin Mini I'll get that other tailight out once I remove the gas tank.

Some small dents in the bonnet and boot lid.

this is pretty much the level of dent repair to the drivers side, yes it is the right side. The door is going to have to be completely stripped however, as it looks to me as if some one has painted it without the use of a primer coat. The paint refuses to feather out, so I have no other choice here. I'll assume the other door will be similar.

Very sweet mini! I love the progress pics! And the blue checkers on the sides is a first! I can only hope that my mini will look half as nice when it's done.
