Progress goes from first page to last....

Well I picked up this 1991 Honda Prelude Si as a new project. Ever since 2001 I've missed my old '88 Yellow Si, I wanted another.

So now, a few yrs later I finally had a chance. So for my 26th Birthday I decided to get another. I was driving around and found the beauty. (not right now but soon). I picked it up with a Broken timing belt and bent valves on September 13, 2007.

It will be a slow progress. But here she is for now. The day I brought her home:

well after about 4ms of it sitting in the back yard. I decided to try to get it running. Well I called Tony over, and we put in a new timing belt, spark plugs and some fresh oil.

We did a quick compression check. Don't know if we did it right online because at first we weren't getting any readings. So we tried it again, and it read 30/30/30/15? we were like wtf, well anyway, we attempted to started and it did nothing. It sounded like it wanted to...Well we changed the battery. [i had it charging, but apparently its just Dead]. Well it didn't start. We were tired it was late, so we starting putting everything away. But, something told me to give it one more try. And what do you now? It finally started. So I was happy to hear/see it on for the first time in 4ms. It did sound weak, and well I'm gonna do some more work in the next few weeks. But We'll see what happens then.

well guys.... Tony B. came by and We adjusted the cams

the car turned on fine...I drove it around my back yard for a lil bit. Then I drove it around the block once. Felt pretty good.

Now the problems we noticed:
1)Smokes white smoke...from the exhaust [out the tail pipe]
2)After its on for a lil while the oil light will come on and/or flicker?
