Page 3 - Engine pull and other performance goodies
Decided to run true dual exhaust. 2 x 2.5 inch turbo style mufflers, headman S extensions, and a summit X-pipe. Notice how much muffling the bullet mufflers will do, lol.
Pulled the engine. And if anyone acutally reads this youll see me constantly complaining about the half assed jobs I keep finding done by the previous owner. So here we go again. the motor pulled right out since it was just sitting on the mounts, not even bolted down. Also The tranny lines were cut already instead of being removed properly. I guess this is more inspiration to not give up on this car, Ive put a lot of time and money into it so far and it would be really depressing to just sell it again like the last guy did.*end rant*
Heres a few more pics of the pulled motor. I bought a serpentine setup with all the accessories for $75 shipped on TGO and installed it a few weeks before these pictures. Also when I pulled the motor and trans I figured it was a good time to install the 2800 stall.
The engine bay before it was sanded down and resprayed. Lots of surface rust.
