This is the runner before I finished the first body job (bondo job) It turned out pretty good as you can see from the pics above well concidering that I was 16 at the time.

The time has come once again to play in the garage!

Now that the truck isn't on the road i can actually spend a little bit of time and money on it. i got my hands on a solid alxe out of an 85 toyota pickup, so the sas is going to be done this summer. I'll be able to fab almost everything that is needed to do the conversion. Therefore i can save myself about $1500. My springs were made in a shop in town for a little less than $300 for the set of 4. once I do the swap and lift i'll bring my drive shafts in and have them extened at another place in town as of yet not sure what thats going to cost. so far it's cost me $250 for the axle and the $300 for the springs. I'm going to have to buy a histeer kit for it to get the heavy duty hi steer arms and pitman arm. kits retail for $299 USD from trail gear so with shiping and border fees i'm probably looking at about $500 we will see what happens i guess.

But before i can get to far into mounting that axle under the front end i have to finish up the body job here are a few pics of some of the patchs that i've fabed up and welded in.

yea man i will try and get them tomorrow (jul 2) but i have read on a few diff forums ( not sure witch ) but the chevy springs only givr you about 3"s of lift and i know for sure tht the springs i have ARE ALOT MORE than 3"s i have a 3" block in the back and about a 2or 3" lift shackle int he back aswell and it still sits to the back a few inches, you can see in the side view it sits way back, the top of the drivers head light is 4' 1" of the ground i think its about a total of 8 or 9 inches of lift total including the tires 35" boggers
