This is a 1966 Ford Falcon Ranchero Viper Blue with White Rally Stripes. I purchased the car in May of 2003 It has been an ongoing project of mine for some time now. I originally pulled out the stock 289 and swapped in a 302 out of my cousins drag car and drove to Las Vegas from Nor Cal. I then blew up the 302 caused by putting 4.89:1 gears in the rear end and doing 100 for about 5 minutes. After that the car was taken to California to a friend of mines to rebuild the motor while I went to support our country in OIF/OEF. After spending a few months at home the car eventually was moved to the shop and my friend Bruce who was building the motor decided we needed a stroker. Long story short the car has a 393 Windsor Stroker Motor putting out about 575ponies and 550 ft/lbs torque. It's tubbed has a Mustang II front clip and has enough room for 28x14.00 drag slicks. Shortened Rear end with a Detroit locker, wilwood disc brakes and 3.73 gears. The motor also sports... Hooker Super comp headers, edelbrock victor jr. intake. Holley 750 dbl pumper. AFR heads. h beam rods and some pistons that look like they belong on a nascar motor. I'd like to say thanks for the guys who have helped me build the car over the last 3 years. RC Motorsports of South Carolina, MandH Racemaster Drag tires, J&J Driveline of Fortuna,CA, Tom Woods Drivelines, Full On Auto and Marine of Eureka,CA, Line X of Eureka,CA, Fortuna Muffler, Johns Auto Wreckers of Eureka,CA and Dearborn Classics. Dad thanks for spending all that cash at the last minute this time and you're welcome for the Harley!! Bruce Thanks for all the hard work on the motor man. I promise I will never Drink and Drive the car. Due to Safetey Reasons and you should never drink and drive any ways. Butch says the car is going to be psychotic and that i should be careful at all times while driving this bad boy. Last but not least Clete of Hantz customz. Thanks for the crazy ingenuity that went into this thing. Without you the car would not have been done. I can't wait to get home and drop the motor in and drink some Beers!!! Iraq's been fun but it's time to see my family and friends. I love all you guys seriously, this car has been like a child to me and it never would have come together without you. I hope all you readers out there and Ranchero owners like what I have done to the 66 Falcon Ranchero. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I will try to answer the questions as best as possible!
