HEAD
I got a spare head to work on. I plan on matching the inlet and exhaust manifolds and then just a nice tidy up with a bit of work on port shape. Will get a 3 angle valve job but considering the boost pressue I don't see much benefit for going 5 angle so will give this a miss. Will run a custom cam so that power comes in as designed in the topend hopefully a power band of 5-8,500 rpm which I think is reasonable. I will be getting an adjustable cam gear made up and fit higher pressure single valve springs as there will not need to be any mods for this to prevent oscillation at high RPM.

The head was returned cleaned and pressure tested with a clean bill of health. The reground cam shaft came back soon after.
I ordered single valve springs but these were now apparently unavailable so for the same price I got double it just requires some small machining of the retainer for the inner spring.

Finally the adjustable cam gear was finished off. Once I've made up the exhaust manifold I will start working on the porting of the head.
