This is my 1985 Ford Ranger Custom. It has a custom hunter green paint job. It currently is powered by a 2.8 v-6 that I hope to be swapping out to a V-8 in the future. I have a 2bbl 289 out of a 67 Mustang ready to rebuild, just need time. I have added a CD player and different speakers, 2 6.5" in a custom hardwood box behind the seat and 2 4" in the stock locations in the dash. I made a different bumper/grille guard assy to move the chrome front bumper up with the lift, and added a 3/8" angle with tow loops on it to serve as a bumper should I need it. It also had the front valance trimmed down and put on the outsides of it to keep it all looking kinda stock. I need to do a little more adjustment to it, the grille guard leans abit one way, otherwise I like the way it came out. I also have istalled a 3" PA bodylift and 235/75-15 Dunlop Radial Mud Rover tires as opposed to the bald car tires that were on it. The pics are chronological order starting from the newest. The truck had a black grille when I got otherwise it looked like the first pic when I got it.

I just picked up some aluminum rims at a swap meet. The left one is after I rinsed, and hit it with Mother's wheel polish and Never Dull. The right one is just how I got it. As near as I can tell they are "Ultra" brand, that is what the centercaps say.

In the process of getting the wheels changed, I will have pictures of them put on next week.

I got the wheels on and gave it a quick bath, I am impressed with how it changed the entire look of the truck.

How it normally looks on any given day:

Doing its typical duties: being a resupply truck for our small acreage, shown here hauling the jack (to hook up the rake) and gas can for the B that is about to rake hay.

Mine is a "Custom", which wasn't a common option for 1985 Rangers.
Here is the "Custom" interior... mainly a rubber floor and a steel roof. Two options I love.

I finally got my rollbar/lightbar repainted (pictures are not great due to rain)

My camo 4x4 decals and painted tail lights. Dunno what the point of the molded frame was, but they look great painted the same color as the body.

My lego model of the beast

Me goofing around with the camera, you can see the tire to my dads F-350 peeking out from behind mine.
