HID Xennon

I got tired of these crappy 55/60W sealed halogen bulbs, they are dim, expensive and chew up lots of power. I then got my self H4 conversion lamps from Hella, and it turns out that the halogen bulb uses even more than the sealed beam and its still not that bright. So I went out and got my self a H4 High/low Bi-Xenon Kit. The High/low xenon kit physically moves the bulb in and out so as to focus the beam, producing a high beam and a low beam. The xenon kit I bought is a 8000K from hidworld.com, was about $280 with shipping and I think it was money well spent.
You will notice that with HID, it’s normally rated at a lower wattage, it’s because its way more efficient. Halogen bulbs produce 75% Heat and 25% light if you are lucky. With HID you will produce about 65% Light and 35% heat, that’s why it’s rated at a lower wattage. You have a lower wattage and more light how about that? So you use almost half the amps on a 33W HID than what you would on a Halogen.
