This is my 1999 C/K 2500. It has a 6.5 L Turbo Diesel. I know its not the best Diesel engine in the world but I Still like it and thats why I bought one.
I'll probably keep it stock engine wise. Its a pretty slow truck I'm guessing it runs a high 17 or low 18 in the 1/4th. I didn't buy it with the intention of making it fast I just wanted a truck that got 20 MPG.
I was thinking of getting a Colorodo/Canyon or Sierra/Silverado Stepside with the 4.3 or 4.8 engine.
In the end I choose the C/K, I just liked it more and I love the diesel sound =)

This is the most recent picture of it, I've added fender flares, a locking gas door, tinted the tail lights and added those corny skull hitch covers =P. I'm happy with it as is now. If I happen to make a bunch of extra money I might lift the front 2 inches to level it out.
