This is a 1971 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 W-30 that belongs to one of my relatives. It has been garaged since 1999. For those of you that don't know, 4-4-2 means 400 cubic inches, four-barrel carb, and dual exhaust. You may remember 4-4-2 as meaning 4-barrel, 4-speed manual, with dual exhaust, which is correct up until the 1965 model year. This car is a 1971 model so it came with a 455ci big block from the factory rated at 350bhp and 460 ft-lbs of torque...The car is stock except for the paint, the air cleaner, and glasspack mufflers.

The car features a custom paint job - $7,000...

hey man nice cutlass they got there, but keep in mind that they didnt have a 400 in 64, the first 442 had a 330 with a 4bbl, 4 speed, duel exhaust, the 400 was installed in the 66 and 67's as well. if you check out my page you will see my 64, but it no longer has the orig engine or trans, its now a big block 455 with a th400 trans, dont forget to check out the other rides as well, anyway man, thats a great cutlass you guys got there , take it out for a spin once and a while.

What about after 1969 when the 400ci changed again? I have a difficult time remembering all that--- anyway, that is one awesome ride! And yeah, i do love the paint.
