Well the damage has been done I Just got the Motor and Tranny with transfer case outta the Jeep. I actually was depressed that I killed my ongoing project of 2 1/2 years haha, but moving on to the black one as soon as I get the right wiring harness from the guy I bought the black on from. heres some pics in the 1994s memory.

comanche-mans 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee  Last Day on the Road! Im gonna miss it!

Tearing the beast apart (this took longer than i thought due to all the wiring and linkages and cables that had to be unhooked)

Here is my jeep with the new 31x10.5R15 BFGoodrich A/Ts from treadwright (retreads that are identical to the originals but like half the price and they are still just as sweet)also just finished up my 2.25" lift with Rubicon Express shocks from 4wheelcustoms.com (so nice!!). Also I have on my Kargo Master roof rack (the biggest on you can find!!) that i got for a steal ($125 with all the lights at a swap meet all I had to get was the mounting brackets!!)

Here I am doing a flex test around my property (I took out my front sway bar cause I broke a link on it while doing MILD wheeling at my house) Also a few poser shots. It still has more to go!!

I had to do alot to get my 31s on, first i called a few places, all said that they couldn't mount my tires on the jeep because of some stupid liability issue (i don't have any 4x4 shops around here so all work is done by me) so i had to take off my AR-23s and put on my almost all the way shot original rims+tires (GAY!!) and then drive 15 miles on them each way (scary), then i had to fit all the damn rims and tires in the back of the zj (FUN), i got them nounted on the rims and thank god for my roof rack or it would have been 2 trips! then i remounted my new tires and off the old ones went. (I did all this after school, in one day!!)

Before 31s and restriping                      AFTER: Big difference:

This is my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. aka: ZJ UN-Limited

I  Bought this Beast for only $400 on my 16th Birthday!!! Ever since I bought it I have been adding as much as i can afford into it. Ever since i first drove it, it has been my favorite vehicle. I am hoping to turn it into a trail/street rig. It has been going pretty good so far.

comanche-man's 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee   Pic of it with the new rims on it.

This thing just had a newer 4.0 litre and trans dropped into it when I bought it!! It came out of a 98 Grand cherokee that got rear-ended and only had 50,000 miles on it! Now has around 65,000 on the engine and trans. it runs STRONG, and it starts everytime, it once started at -39 degrees outside!! My parents needed a Jump!! Shows how dependable these things are.

The things wrong with it when  I bought it was that the front driveshaft isn't in it (still doesnt have it in cause i broke the bolt off in the front axle yoke :( and still have yet to drill it out and put it in) the front bumper guard was gone (fixed) the rear bumper guard was gone too (have it but won't fit on right) the tirez were bald and the original limited rims looked all chewed up and made it look gay. so i put on some AR-23 fom American Racing to improve the looks and some new coopers went on. The paint is peeling and I mean Bad!! (ONe of my friends has a SprayBooth and a gun to do it i just don't have the time and i have no clue what paint to buy, let me know if u know any good and cheap paint sellers) and It being from Wisconsin comes the ever so lovely rust under the plastic pontoons on the doors and the rocker panels are getting bad (planning on cutting of the bad rockers and making my own sliders and the doors i am going to cut the rust off and weld all new metal on and make it smooth again)

New Exhaust: no catylitic Converter and a new thrush glasspack with a new stainless tip. Sounds Awesome!!!

Update: some A$$holes thought it was funny to stomp down my exhast and steal my tip (I'm pissed) they broke off my rear exhaust mount and put a nice hole through my exhaust. (those punks better know what they got themselves into if i find them!!!) now i had to throw on a dual tip that i had laying around until i can get another tip. and im gonna weld it this time!!!

  NEW ROOF RACK!!!!

Its a KargoMaster Safari rack with 4 130w KC Highlights and 4 55w baja lights on the back with dual CB antennas. I am planning on adding train horns to it LOUD!!! an a PA system!!  With all of this new it would have cost me over $800!! go it at Jefferson Swap Meet for $125 Only thing i had to buy was $60 for the mounting harware!!! Enjoy

Also u can that I painted the Gay gold body strpe on the pontoons to black. Really updated the look. I recommend doing this to anyone that owns a white or black jeep ZJ.

Too bad you can't really use it for parts, since the first and second gen ZJ's have so little in common aesthetically, and you took all of the mechanicals out of it already lol. You gonna switch the lift over? And the head unit? And the exhaust? Hah, you've got some work ahead of you hahah. By the way, when did you prime your hood?
