My father bought this car new in 1985. It's been used, but never abused. Fortunately, it was always garaged at home and at his office, so everything is in great condition. I
t has 211,000kms on the clock and is an original and unmolested car. This is the last of the W123 series.
We used to get the car serviced by Mercedes Benz, but during the last two years I've found their mechanics are more familiar with the newer models (not surprisingly), so we have now found a non-dealer workshop that specialises in older Merc's.
Mercedes Benz sold almost 2.5 million W123's from 1977 - 1985. They're practically indestructible. There always seems to be at least one of these in every pic I've seen from the war torn Middle East!
It's a great car and I'll never part with it.
