ATTENTION anyone that reads this and is selling a car, let me know. i'm going to college next year for auto, and i'm looking for a car to work on. mainly i'm looking for a bmw m3, honda prelude, a vw golf, audi a4, or Mercedes 190e but if you think i may like yours hit me up.

my price range is up to around 7-8,000 and i'd prefer it to be more stock than modded

Hey, I'm Ryan and I'm 18 years old and this is my first car. A 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais. The car is completely stock right now, with a small 260 under the hood. I've got some big plans to make it a street/strip car, just need to save some money up to rebuild an engine, buy a new tranny, and rear end.

here is what the car needs/problems...
new carb, but will get a new one when i get a new engine
there is massive blow-by in the cylinders
because of these two problems, timing is over advanced otherwise it will stall

but the good thing is, that when it's warmed up and driving, she drives amazing
