Thanks for stopping by! I try to update this page whenever something noteable happens; if your looking for updates, theyre on pg 6

I looked at the poll of what to do next, and took into account other things, and as of now the plan is: in a few years put in either a TKO 600, viper spec t56, or a Richmond six speed (leaning towards the Richmond). Once the whole drivetrains strong enough to take on the abuse, ill probably slap on a 150 shot and some slicks for fun- cant justify the expenses of a procharger for a daily driver.

Id eventully like to have a modern 5.7/6.1L Hemi or fuel inject the 408 with the Richmond/t56/TKO behind it and redo the suspension to handle around corners better

WOW! Thanks everyone who voted the duster to no.1 Plymouth, then no.1 OVERALL!

Here it is finally, the first start of the duster, turn up the volume, enjoy! i know i did, before it started leaking oil everywhere (fixed that)

This page is a result of too much free time; im trying to make a "log" of the dusters progress: purchased july, 2007. It is a 1970 Duster that was originally a slant 6, but also came with a 360ci small block. The subframes and k-member have NO rust, the front floor pans, trunk, and rear quarter panels are all completely gone though. The wheels/tires are with 17x8 and 17x9 inch powdercoated black Cragars,(225/40/17)(275/40/17). The interior has black Summit racing seats, and full Ultra Lite Auto Meter gauges (6) in a custom insterment panel. And a 4pt roll cage was welded in, any more points, and there couldnt be a rear seat.

The transmission is an A833 4 speed, which I found out to be an early overdrive unit( 1st-2nd is same strength as standard, 3-4 is weaker, but still with iron housing). The differential is a dana s60 from Strange engineering, with 3.54 gears, posi, and wilwood disks. The trans will obviously have to be replaced for something stronger later.

worn cam bearings and out of spec crankshaft changed the plan of just refurbishing the engine into a new stroker build!

The engine is as follows:

408ci. (6.7L) 10:1 compression forged pistons, forged I-Beam rods, cast steel crank

comp cams "Mutha Thumpr" roller cam (specs 299/319 @ .050, .533/.519)  with comp full roller rockers

Edelbrock aluminum heads (more engine info on pg.5)

For exhaust Hooker Headers, and 2 1/2" dual pipes go out back, electric cutouts empty out under the car, near the collectors, to scare the rice away. Keep checking back for updates!- mostly on pg6...
