this is my 1956 chevy 3600 3/4 ton longbed stepside i got it from my neghbor who just wanted it out of his drive way for $500 with clean paperwork and a motor and tranny still in it the truck is bone stock as far as anything goes right now my main concern is just stoping the rust and getting it fired you can tell just by the pictures the progress i have made

update: i just got parts!!!!!! door hindges brake hydrolics coil points condencer carb fuel pump soon she will be on the road pics comming soon

this is where my door issues were comming form in the forground is the new hindge and the backround is the old one major difference the old one is bent to hell

update i havent been able to do much to my truck since i had my knee surgery but as of today 6/28/08 it runs after 15+ years of sitting it runs once again im with it running i have found it needs bearings in the lower end of the block but the gadges all work!!!! temp oil pressure voltage the only one that doesnt work is the fuel it says its full it only has 2 1/2 gallons in it go figure the one main on i need lol but yeah im excited

well screw a monkey i got her up to temp today and the raidiator leaks like a stuck pig and i dont have the $400 for a new one any one know of one for cheaper

update: got the drivers door taken care of its on new hinges and works the way its supposed to and i have atarted putting the sheet metal back on it
