Great car. I have the same motor. The biggest improvement I saw was the CAI and custom tune. The Exhaust upgrade helps, Upgraded injectors help. Live wires and demon coil add a little. New throttle body will add a little. Little by little you will get more power out of the motor. Take a look at our 06 redfire drop top mustang sometime and give us a rating and your comments!!

One way is to start with a cold air intake and a dyno and tune. Then you will know what you can do next, right now I have 225 RWHP, updating site to show new dyno and tune, did put oversize GT injectors in too. By the way, one item that has helped dial it in is the 8.8 T-Locker, just a couple of ideas.
