This is my 1989 Chrysler Lebaron 2.2 Turbo II GTC. I bought it in February 2007 in Germany and brought it to Spain where since then a handfull friends and myself are working on getting it back in shape.
It is an ambitious project for many reasons. First of all, the car is not even 1 year in my position but already suffered an accident which made me think if it would be worthwhile to carry on with it. But I like it, so here it is, repainted, repaired, and started to be prepared to be not only a beauty but also a fast car!
Besides that it is a pretty well performing car and besides my plans to tickle more out of it, I as well want it to be what it already is, a comfortable summer car usuable as a daily driver. It is easy to maintain and a real pleasure to drive. After all its gas milage is superb.
Looking at the back of my car you might say, "hang on, this is not a GTC". Well it is a GTC. Due to an Accident I was forced to repaint the car and I decided to put the crome lettering. The same applies to the crome blends in the wheel case. There were put in as I like them.
Anyone a bit aquainted with the Shelby Dodge History knows, that the 2.2 Turbo II Configuration has a lot of potential. In fact, right out of the box it already is a impressive performing car.
On the following pages I will show the steps taken so far to get the car where it is, and also outline what is planned in the future. I expect to keep this page alive, so come back if you are interested in seeing my progress or as well my setbacks which equally I do expect to arise!

Let's have a look at its tecnical specs...(next page)
