a car like this needs a lot of work , i wanted to have all things working perfect on this car, in the beginning it was running a bit rough, poor brakes, cooling problems, leaking oil,bad transmission etc etc

this is the
work that has been done allready, (mostly by me, some by proffecionals)

proffecionaly repainted.
new rebuild original carb (big improvement)
new (rebuild) speedometer.
put in a volt, rpm, temp gauge
new starter engine
new alternator(twice, first a rebuild, than a new)
new intake gasket
new alu carter (oilpan + gasket)
new ventilatorclutch
new waterpump
new ignition cables, hei rebuild,,after that i trowed this all out and used msd stuff,,great improvement.
new 4 core radiator (big improvement)
new rotors and pads
new drums and shoes
new brakelines
new brakepumps and caliphers
new wider rims and tires
rebuild transmission (pro)
rebuild torqueconverter(pro)
rebuild aircopump
rebuild differential and axel all new gears(pro)
lpg conversion,(pro)
again a second lpg conversion,,some sort of upgrade to have more power on lpg.(i installed the 450 ohg instead of a 300A impco.)
interior,,new upholstery, vinyl for doors and dash
repainted seats.
a verry big sound system all boston rally speakers.
new belts
all,,,and i mean all new rubber pieces like the inner and outer felts for the windows ,the doors, trunk etc.
repaired and repainted two verry small dents in the body.
+all the little stuf i have forgotten.
lots of $$$$$$$$ for shipping parts to europe!

car runs and drive like new,,,,,,better than new!

the only thing i need to do right now are the headergaskets ,,,blown away again for second time. i need to use new bolts instead of the old ones.

like i said before, the allmost stock engine can burn the 295 tires in no time! even on lpg. (liquid propain gas)
thanks to the 450 ohg mixer and the msd. topspeed has been tested on a test-bench and was 130m/h (210km/h) and still rising. we just quit gas, because it was almost at 5000rpm at that time. didnt want to kill the engine just for fun.

the buick riviera is a fantastic car, if you have one, keep it!
repair it, drive it ...burn some rubber!

wow, this sure brings back old memories. Me and a buddy picked up a 71 riviera a few years ago. an was i ever impressed with it, i never thought that a car that is 38yrs old would have power windows, power seats, power everthing, it was so far a head of its time, But we didnt have room for it, this thing is a boat. so we got the big block 455 running and then sold it. LOL, glade to see someone keeping this classy classic alive.
