Hi my name is phil, and this is my sweet ride a 1995 v-8 thunderbird.some change where made to the car by previous owner, engine wise..solid cams.lifters,pushrods,valves...etc
but the body was left untouched.when i got it,the lower body was black, the hood was dented, the front original bumper was scrached,so was the rear one.
the engine part was pretty much covered...so i got to work on the body...it took a while but i found front, rear bumper and side skirts from a 1993 s/c got lucky and paid only 150$ for the whole thing.slap it on the car made some arrengements with old bumpers as you can see, painted it,some eye lids also in the front and the rear lights, changed the position of the lettering and voila!!!.
Ad a few things done.new shocks,springs,starter...took the original air intake out,and costum build a direct air intake
with a cone.much more cool air in the system, and the car now exploits more rpm before changing gear, when pedal is squished.
But much more is to come..today i'm getting a pair of flowmaster
exhaust from a mustang gt...some minor ajustements will be needed
for fitting...but it's absulutely worth it...
That's about it before winter...but a set of enkei 17 inch chrome
mags are on their way, fitted with 225/40/zr17 falken tires.
8.5 mil wires,bosh plugs..etc
during winter the whole room will be filed with goddies for the car...just waiting for the snow to melt...and then there's gonna be some pavement to melt...

these are updated pics. go check page 5 and get the whole story by flicking page by page.

just got those bad boys installed...did the gasket on the diff .

to all of you out there that can maybe help me...the car has develloped a symptom...it's a low vibration that always occur at the same speed 70,100,120,140...it's a vertical vibration,
not side to side thing...and it is not produced when the gas is punched...it's when your driving normally or when kick-down is
applied...the syptom does not occur when the car is cold...it's
always after 10,15 minutes of driving...but after that it's constant...personnaly i think maybe syncro...but im sure it has to do with the tranny...let me know what you think...
shadow362@hotmail.com.
Finally i know what the problem is...torque converter...yeah!!
the car is now in a tranny shop getting fixed.and since the whole thing is gonna be on the floor i might a well get it checked,if it his in need of a rebuild or not, after this problem gets fixed...it's nothing but bonus...nothing else has to be done...so there gonna be room for upgrades...and performance parts.
So finally the tranny was redone, all new parts and runs like a beauty,
today we are the 9th feb 2008 the car is at a shop getting a new fresh paint, after 4 days of prep,it got the rust purge of a life time...got to all these litle place hard to get at blasted, door hinges to the metal, rocker panel, trunk floor, bumper clips, light housings, door bases, wheel bases got the inner lip (place where the two sheet metal are fused)sand blasted and epoxy treated all around the plastic guard was removed and the metal revealed and treated, really took the time to flush all the surface rust to the core,i'm a little bit paranoid on details like that...but when it's your baby...
this summer the car is gonna get the undercarriage oiled treated
BY ME... there is no holes on the floor panels and trust me when im don with it they will never be..
i will post the new pictures soon's i get the car.
to all of you keep it going.
updates are on page 5.check it. it's worth it...thanks...don't forget to rate...see you
