Rims/Tires
Nothing makes a car like the rims: especially old cars, where u see everyone goin for stock, and original. For awhile i couldnt decide on either Magnum 500s, or Cragars, but in the end i chose the cragars. Magnums are everywhere, and i personally think the cragars are nicer.

I recently picked these up at a classic mustang swap meet at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey. They are Cragar SS's 14 x 7s on the front, and 14 x 8's on the rear for a nice look.

We got the tires on the rims the other day. There BF Goodrich Radials with raised white lettering. Very nice.

Just another picture of the rim/tire standing up.

CRAGARS ARE ON AND CAR IS HOME..INTERIOR WILL BE IN SHORTLY

BETTER PICS TO COME

Garage pic..NO LIGHT

Sound
With the car being a 1964 mustang, the sound is rather weak, but hopefully we will eventually have some sort of sound system. I would appreciate any insight on this issue. If you've done anything with your classic car concerning a system of some sort, please mention it in my guestbook.

This is a picture of my AM RADIO. Yes, AM, no FM. Theres probably some sort of face/speakers/subs in the future for this car, because the AM radio is probably not going to cut it. We do NOT want to cut the dash, so will probably end up putting the cd player (face) in the console slot. I probably won't get involved in this until the summer, mainly because theres so much work still to be done with just getting the car running, and lookin good..so as of now its not a priority. Until then, they'll probably be a portable stereo in the backseat, hehe.
Interior
The old interior was decent..but personally i dont think theres much point in redoing an entire car, and leaving the original faded interior. So with that in mind, heres the new red leather interior.

These are the front bucket seats top and bottom leather covers. The actually seats are mint condition, so we're keeping those.

These are the back bench top and bottom covers. Mmm..the smell of new leather...

This is a picture of the new molded carpet that was part of the interior kit. We have to rip out the original and just place this in, and it will fit perfectly.

This is a picture of the new dash pad. If you look at the beginning picture when we first bought the car, the original has a few imperfections on it, and is also slightly faded.

These are the new door panels. that go on the inside of the doors.

These are our new door handles, front window rollers and our rear (quarter) rollers. The old ones were pitted.

This is a picture of the new backup lights that I bought. The original bezels are pitted, and the wiring was a little bad.

This is my new export brace! There is nothing wrong with the original, but it was black, and was dull. This one really makes the engine shine!

This is a picture of the custom floormats that i bought from a specialty catalog. They aren't really necessary due to the carpet, but it prevents wear and tear on the carpet, and they look sharp.

This is a picture of our old scuff plates; all dented along with the first owners attempt to glue the ford logo back onto it.

This is a picture of our new scuff plates which are chrome; nice and shiny!

NEW LEATHER IS ON BUCKET SEATS

Seat on the left is before, on the right is the finished. Although it may be hard to tell from a distance, there is actually a LOT of difference. Not only are the original seats faded, but also have many imperfections in them, so the new ones look like a million bucks.
*INTERIOR UPDATE II* - 2/22
CARPET HAS BEEN REMOVED, AND NEW CARPET IS BEING PLACED SHORTLY

In this picture, you can see we removed the old dirty carpet, and the "sound deadening stuff" is viewable...new carpet will be in shortly, and kick panels will be installed also.

In this picture, you can see the original owners bad excuse for a kickpanel. He basically made his own by using a cheap piece of cardboard covered with red cloth!

In this picture, you can see the new kick panels that have been installed. They are quality plastic which makes them stronger, look better than the original cloth coverings, AND you dont even notice they're there!
*BUMPER UPDATE* - 2/10

Me and my dad just got the bumpers on. They were a pain to get on, lining up the holes on the bumper with the car slots, but we got it in about an hour and a half. The interior is almost done, and will be in the car very shortly! keep checkin back. 1

Rear Bumper.
*EXHAUST UPDATE* - 3/10

We just purchased these new Flowtech (by holley) Headers. They are "Jet Hot" coated with a chrome exterior, and they look great. My brother put these same ones on his 71 convertable, and we were very happy with them. We plan on installing them, and getting a new flowmaster h-pipe, and 40 series flowmaster mufflers.

Just another shot.

There they are underneith the car connecting to the Flowmaster h-pipe.

Thats the front view of the headers going back to the flowmaster mufflers, and duelies.

My new Flowmaster 40 series' in the box.

The Flowmaster 40 series! They sound great!
*RANDOM STUFF*

New emblems! I am unsure of weather or not to put these new emblems on the car, and would appreciate if you would leave me your opinion in my guestbook and/or take the poll.

This is a picture of a 65 mustang WITH these emblems on (circled). What do you think? Let me know! NOTE: THIS IS NOT MY CAR
