Alright, where to start...I bought this 2002 Mazda Protege LX in March of 2006 and have been adding some stuff to it ever since...I've tried hard to keep the design clean and I think I've pulled it off...Even now though, I still have alot of mods to add in the near future but heres how it looks now! Give me a vote if you like! And please send me comments, suggestions to make better, anything...Thanks!
****UPDATE**** September 3, 2009- HUGE UPDATE TIME! So much has changed since March so heres the quick list: OZ Ultraleggera 17 inch rims, EVO 8 carbon fiber spoiler, Ground Control coilovers, almost a complete Mazdaspeed interior swap for door panels, kickplates,etc.. Painted pillars and headliner black, black carpet, Mazdaspeed Engine cover, Corksport exhaust hangers, Racing Beat rear sway with AWR bushings.. etc.. ON TO THE PICS =)
and installed... EVO 8 spoiler hopefully in a month or two.. and seriously thinking about some Ground Control coilovers no matter how impracticle they may be for Connecticut! haha
January 17, 2009- Installed Euro Style OEM taillights a while which I tinted with VHT Nightshades so the top is a nice dark red and the bottom where the ugly bulbs are usually seen are black... Can't wait to back it up with a carbon fiber trunk coming this spring with EVO8 spoiler =)
October 23, 2008: Been ridiculously busy recently but have added some things and changed some things in the last few months..Since the last update, Ive added a Vibrant strut tower bar, custom cold air intake, painted my heat shield and valve cover silver, and ummm cleaned the engine pretty shiney finally! Things coming in the next few months if I can earn and save enough Benjamins til around spring...carbon fiber trunk with official carbon fiber evo spoiler with the sides painted, I have a really sick idea for tinting some Euro spec tail lights gonna be niceee, also might be risky and paint everything from the pillars up black on the interior...Maybe... Also, if I can find some Mazdaspeed harnesses Ill do that with a Sparco harness bar or something.. Finally...maybe some drilled and slotted rotors or something? PLus I sure do hate those stupid LX rear drums...
August 19, 2008: Corkport exhaust on for a while but heres pics, plus Vibrant strut tower brace to be installed after I get cruise control relocation bracket...

April 25,2008- Brand new leather MazdaSpeed racing seats....Installation is as soon as I get fabricated brackets...
April 15, 2008- Mesh of carbon fiber front grill painted black
April 14, 2008- Carbon fiber grill on and installed, soon I will paint the center black when the weathers good! HID running lights also installed, the reflect blue off through the casing but shine a bright white...Also, leather Mazdaspeed bucket seats in the mail!
March 15, 2008 Blacked out headlights installed finally!!!
February 8, 2008 VIS CARBON FIBER hood installed, and Konig Tuner 2 rims back on!

January 11, 2008 I purchased headlight tint covers to use until I could put my real headlights on but..... they are not as transparent as I was lead to believe so I may have to take them off.....

November 29, 2007 VIS EVO STYLE CARBON FIBER HOOD has arrived! I'm going to wait until March to put it on as I don't feel like first seeing it on my car with my winter rims on but definately worth the wait!
November 8,2007 New headlights have arrived....Unfortunately the front bumper does not flex enough to let the old head lights come out so the whole bumper needs to come off. With no free time now, they will have to wait until summer....
October 22, 2007- I have just painted the back lip of my rear bumper black to give it a bit of a rear diffuser look...I think it came out great...check it out and tell me what you think!
First I used construction paper to see how it would look...
Then I taped it up and painted it black....
