My eletrical? Haw haw!
I made a little schematic of everything I added to the car. This includes the drawn wiring too.
I just replaced my engine ground, I was sickened when I found it.

Its about time I explain my crazy, half assed audio system. Pictures or words? Hell you get words first!
So I have a Pioneer DEH-6900 Deck with USB support (20 gig hardrive). This deck bypasses the factory amp, and powers some stock "premium speakers". Well, I shouldnt be bashing the stock speakers, because you're not going to get a better speaker than a JBL complimented with a box tuned to the speaker's specifications for each door.
And heres my trunk, oh boy my bass setup. I never really liked, trusted, or approved of a lot of car audio. (I think all the ratings are overpriced horse-do-do.) I do a lot of professonal video and sound, so this is what I wind up with.
MESSY PICTURE!

CLEAN PICTURE!:
This box is going to change soon. I need to rebuild one.
So I have an 18" Eminence Omega Pro, 8 ohm 4" copper coil, 800 watts RMS, oh, did I mention that car subs are 88db/1watt when this is 97db/1watt?
But Eric, Don't you have one of those lame car amps powering it? Nope! Im too cheap to buy something worthwhile!
An old, anchient boat ancher, a PA JBL Amplifier, 600 watts RMS into 8 ohms. Heavy sonovabitch. Not to mention, you cant find a car amplifier that does a decent ammount of wattage into 8 ohms. If you want to do a silly comparison, this 600 into 8 ohms: is 1200 into 4, and 2400watts into 2. so Id need an amplifier that is advertised at 2400+ watts to be suffcient, Haha. yeah right.
The sounds system sounds really nice, even with the stock door speakers. I dont know how loud it gets, as I have a dB meter, but that was maxed out (max reading it could do is 116dB, and it was pinned at that)
Now how do you power something as stupid as that?! Ofcourse, you combat it with more fire! (wait, that didnt even make sense)
Here I am, as the customizer doing what I do best- voiding warrentys.
What I have here is a 2000 watt power inverter. Running right to my battery with some meesly 6 gauge power cable.
Wired the switch to a relay to shut it on/off with the Deck's remote. Leaving the switch in the OFF posistion leaves the inverter controlled by the turn on wire, the ON position bypasses that to run the inverter only. Good for conserving battery. I could use my soldering iron on audio lines, etc.
Heres another Optima Deep cycle I pulled from a scrap yard, looks good. The reading is 11.5 volts at a 125 amp load.
Its going in my trunk as soon as I find a way to vent the battery. Itd go under my hood, but theres no room.
The silver amplifier off to the side of the picture was my old old subwoofer amplifier before the JBL, its a 4 channel Jensen. In the future Ill be running that when I get new door speakers. Like 4" Boston Acoustics or something.
.. Well I had time again so I wired up that Jensen I spoke of. I had some leftover audio snake cable from a job. So I ran 4 runs of balanced signal cable to the trunk. (to wind up terminating with RCA. :P)
This is what the begining of a long trip looks like:
60 minutes later its finally in the dash, spliced on some RCA hookups
Scary back there, isn't it?
This is what victory looks like. You might of thought victory was the result of WWII, but you're wrong.
Its powering some 4" Pioneer bookshelf speakers back there. This gives me the ability to open my trunk and not only piss off an immidiate area with teh subwoofersz, but mid and high too! :B
What a crappy picture. But it gives a general idea of the physical wire runs.
My next mod instore is making LED VU meters to go right next to the volt meter. Its either that or an ammeter that would require customization to make it read 100 or 200 amps instead of a 50A maximum. (plus having two meters fly around would drive me batty, but I could probbably connect the refresh clocks together..)
Prototype built from an LM3914 chip, one channel.(Oh noes! Now everyone on the interbutts knows I'm a NERD!) Finished product will be blue LEDs and red LEDs with a smoked peice of pexiglass.
Heres a video of it in action:
Well I got off my lazy but and constructed a stereo meter out of 3915s
I have no REAL picture or VIDEO of it yet, as my camera has died and I have been tormented of having to use my phone for my picture taking. D:! But enjoy it so far!

Oh and of recently I've really been having problems with my audio system.Lets see, it started with a 120V kickback on the remote turn on wire, if I recall correctly. Ever sence that I've had this nasty hum in my subwoofer amplifier. I've tried soo much to fix it, I just run the gain half on the amp (instead of full) so it isnt that audable. But I've tried coupler transformers, optocoupers, ground lifts, different amplifiers, new RCA runs, It may very well be the reciver, but im not sure. Having the amplifier on with the radio off it still is inducing a hum, disconnecting the RCAs rids the hum. I think Ill pull the negitive cable from the car and run the amp by other means for futhor TROUBLESHOOOOOOOOTTTTTIINNGGG. :D
Still bumpin' at 600 watts throwing 120dB though. ;)
